BILL GATES AND PAUL ALLEN : NETWORKED

The best understand of networked are network of contacts, financial partners, business partners, peers and resources to be successful in business. Networked means not just having a large contact list and a lot of collections of business cards, but it means the valued based on relationships. The value based on relationship is truly meaningful for entrepreneurs. The relationships will lead to business opportunities and long term relationship. 

The advantages of having a networking business are can have an effect of business and easily to enter into the new market. Other than that, it can give chance to change idea with each other  in order to increase their level of business and expand the business. Effective of networked can make the business stay long lasting because almost of entrepreneurs never get their success alone.

 Bill Gates and Paul Allen are founders of Microsoft.  They are the best example, because they are best friend since childhood and have the same interest which is computer programming. They make the business successful by utilizing their shared skills. Gates and Allen worked night and day to complete the first microcomputer Basic. Then, Altair Basic was functioning in March. The “Micro-soft” partnership was sealed in April. So, we can see, the good networked between best friends can produce a best business in the world.

Paul Allen has been best friends since young with Bill Gates. The two friends rushed to a computer at Harvard to write an adaptation of the BASIC language programs. Gates and Allen believes that the small computer that can do miracles. From there they also have a dream, the availability of a computer on every desk and in every household.

 The spirit of Allen and Gates is not useless. Now you can see that the PC has truly become the information age. And almost everyone knows Bill Gates as the richest man in the world today.

William Henry Gates also known as Bill Gates was born in Seattle, Washington in 1955. His father works as a lawyer while his mother is a former teacher. He has two brothers. When he was young, he good in science and mathematics lessons. Then his parents sent Bill Gates to a famous private school ‘Lakeside’. Then, the private school bought a computer. So, within a week Gates, Allen and several friends spent their time for the computer classes for one year.

  Paul Gardner Allen is also known as Paul Allen was born on 1953 in Seattle, Washington. His father in Kenneth Sam Allen and his mother is Edna Faye Allen. He has only one sister. He has the same education with Bill Gates which is at ‘Lakeside’.

 In 1973, Bill Gates went to Harvard University and is registered as a law school student while Paul Allen went to Washington State University. At Harvard, his relationship with Allen remained close. Bill was known as a genius at Harvard. Even one of his teachers told him that Bill is a great programmer genius, but a man who sucks.

As stated in the story, Allen is known as “idea man” and Gates is known as “man of action”. So, when they combine with each other, the idea and the action can be realized into real things. Then, we can see that, Microsoft have been in the market for the longest time since 1975 until now. That is the benefits of having a good business relationship with partners.
